Rocky River Tire Shop is the newest automotive shop in Philippi, West Virginia after holding its recent grand opening, the Mountain Statesman reports.
The shop is located at 26 Museum Street, across from the Philippi Historical Museum, and will offer maintenance as well as state inspections. Previously, a Philippi Discount Tire had operated out of the location.
Corey Marsh is the shop’s owner, with Tony Wilson filling the role of the store manager. Wilson graduated from Philip Barbour High School and previously served as president of the Philippi Used Car Company. He will be assisted by Trevor Riffle.
A large crowd of people that included “members of the Philippi City Council, Chamber of Commerce, and Development Authority” were present at the ribbon-cutting ceremony, performed by Marsh himself.
