A Valvoline franchisee has its eyes on opening a location in Sudbury, Massachusetts, Patch reports.
Metrolube Realty LLC will be going before the Sudbury Zoning Board of Appeals on May 8 to seek permission to operate “a motor vehicle light service establishment” located at 86-92 Boston Post Road, which is currently a parking lot sitting next to a restaurant and positioned “near the intersection of Old County Road.”
Metrolube Realty LLC is based in Marlborough, Massachusetts–about an hour away from Sudbury. It’s managed by Robert Ladas, who operates Metrolube Enterprises, Inc., a company with more than 100 Valvoline locations in 7 states. Ladas’ first two locations were opened in Hudson, Massachusetts, and Marlborough.
The town of Sudbury has “multiple mechanic shops,” but the Valvoline shop would be the first chain establishment within the town’s limits.
