K&N Engineering has announced the opening of a manufacturing facility and warehouse in Grand Prairie, Texas, according to a press release.
The new 500,000-square-foot facility will be the company’s primary site for global manufacturing and distribution, equipped with new technology and tools. Over 5,000 part numbers in K&N’s catalog will be produced there, including parts such as engine air filters and air intake systems.
The company will also have HVAC home air filters manufactured at the Texas plant, as well as “industrial filters for data centers.” The warehouse is capable of holding 15,000 pallet locations.
“This facility will enable us to increase our production capacity and meet the growing demand for our products,” K&N’s Vice President of Manufacturing Humberto Mare stated. “Additionally, we are proud to create over 300 jobs in the area and support the local economy.”
