A Grease Monkey shop in Mesquite, Nevada recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate its opening, The Progress reports.

The event was held on May 4 outside the shop’s garage at 411 W. Mesquite Blvd and was sponsored by the Mesquite Chamber of Commerce. The ribbon cutting was presented by Deanne Brown and Angela Daniels. Their husbands and the store co-owners, Bill Brown and Tyson Daniels, also participated, along with quite Chamber of Commerce President/CEO, Carol Kolson.

Following the ceremony, attendees were treated to catering provided by a local restaurant and were served “hamburger sliders, buffalo chicken mini-sandwiches, fresh fruit and more.”

The shop first opened this past November but had been undergoing renovations, including a new parking lot, updated landscaping, new exterior paint, a new sign, and new equipment. Throughout the process, Brown said that he is grateful for their dedicated customers.

“I have just been overwhelmed by the support from this business community,” he stated. “We so appreciate people being patient as we grow. We have tried to improve every day and we have brought things a long way. Our goal is to continue to improve to provide the best service to our customers.”
