Wisconsin Jiffy Lube Helps Senior Citizens Prep for Winter
Jiffy Lube of Plover, Wisconsin, will be holding a free event for senior citizens to help prepare their vehicles for the winter, Point/Plover Metro Wire reports.
The event is intended for seniors aged 55 or older and will be held on October 19 at Jiffy Lube of Plover, located at 1225 Commons Circle.
Maintenance services for the event will consist of standard winter preparation, such as tire pressure and fluid level checks, all free of charge. Canned food donations will also be accepted at the event.
Jiffy Lube of Plover first opened in 2020 and is owned and operated by Jiffy Lube franchisee Stonebriar Auto Services, LLC.
The event will be co-hosted by Portage County ADRC, Portage County RSVP, Portage County Sheriff’s Office, Stevens Point Police Department, Stevens Point Fire Department, Plover Fire Department, and the Plover Police Department, who will also be offering safety checks, tips, and giveaways.
“We want our senior residents to be prepared and proactive for the winter driving season and are happy to be partnering with Jiffy Lube to provide this winterization service for our residents 55 and over,” said Lindy Vruwink from ADRC.
