Grease Monkey and SpeeDee Oil Change & Auto Service have been named by Entrepreneur Magazine as two of the Top Franchises for Veterans, according to Franchising.com.
The ranked list identifies the top franchise companies that offer incentives to veterans joining their networks.
This isn’t the first time the two FullSpeed Automotive brands have been recognized on Entrepreneur’s annual ranking. Grease Monkey has made the list for six years in a row, and SpeeDee for five.
Grease Monkey advanced by three spots this year, having been at number 6 in 2022 and coming in at number 3 this year. SpeeDee moved up two spots, coming from number 14 in 2022 to number 12 this year.
Almost 500 companies applied to be considered for this year’s ranking. The top 150 of applicants is determined by a number of factors, including incentives offered to veterans, how many of the company’s units are owned by veterans, or whether franchise giveaways or contests are offered for veterans.
Additionally, each company’s 2023 Franchise 500 score was taken into account, which is derived from an analysis of 150-plus data points that cover areas including costs and fees, size and growth, franchisee support, brand strength, and financial strength and stability.
