A former auto repair shop in Rochester, New York will be converted into a Take 5 Oil Change, Rochester Business Journal reports.

The property at 1471 Mt. Hope was previously home to Mt. Hope Service Center, which closed earlier this year after 50 years of business. Quattro Development, LLC of Oak Brook, Illinois, paid $500,000 to former owner Jeffrey Solomon for the property.

Plans to convert the property into a Take 5 Oil Change are now in motion, along with other build-to-suit arrangements, including a Take 5 Oil Change on Hylan Drive in Henrietta, New York, which Quattro paid $850,000 to acquire this past August, and another location on West Main Street in Batavia, New York.

Quattro Development will own the property, located in the southwest corner of the Mt. Hope intersection and Crittenden Boulevard and the terminus of East Henrietta Road. Take 5 will be a tenant of the property on a long-term lease.

“We were targeting the Mt. Hope Avenue area for a good oil change facility,” said Mike Liyeos, principal of Quattro Development. “It’s a high-traffic area and a high-profile property.”
