Multiple recalls were issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) last week related to headlight issues, USA Today reports.

Chrysler has recalled 142,150 of 2023-2024 model year Rams, including the 2023 Ram 1500; 2023-2024 Ram 2500; 2023-2024 Ram 3500; 2023-2024 Ram 4500; and 2023-2024 Ram 5500.

The recall is due to an issue with the steering column control module that causes the high beams to turn on when using the turn signal. Letters notifying owners will be mailed out on Jan. 17, 2024.

Another recall issued by Nissan came after an issue was found with the Adaptive Front-Light System (AFS) in 2022-2024 Infiniti QX60 vehicles, affecting 20,051 cars.

The AFS may fail to adjust the headlights downward at certain speeds, limiting the driver’s visibility on the road. Letters to owners will be sent out on Jan. 12, 2024, and dealers will adjust the settings of the Intelligent Power Distribution Module to remedy the problem.

Ford recalled 18,527 of its 2022 F-150 trucks due to parking lights flickering when the headlights are turned on. As a result, these vehicles fail to comply with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108: “Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.”

Owners will be notified by mail starting Jan. 14, 2024. Dealers will repair the LED driver module software to resolve the problem.
