ASE Announces New Leadership for 2024
The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) has announced a successful leadership transition within its organization as new officers and board members’ terms commence, according to a recent press release.
Dave Johnson has taken on the role of ASE president and CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2024. Previous president and CEO Tim Zilke officially retired from the position on Dec. 31, after leading a 30-year tenure with ASE.
Along with Zilke, Trish Serratore also retired from her position as ASE’s vice president of industry and media relations at the end of 2023. She will be succeeded by Donna Wagner, who recently served as the assistant vice president of the ASE Education Foundation.

Last year’s chair, Travel Centers of America’s Vice President of Truck Service Homer Hogg, will now serve as past chair.
