Voyomotive Releases Tool to Automate Vehicle Service Reminders

Jan. 26, 2024
The Scheduled Service Alert aims to automate the process of reminding customers and service providers of upcoming oil changes and tire services.

Telematics service provider Voyomotive has introduced a Scheduled Service Alert function for shops that will automate reminders to customers to return for maintenance, according to a press release.

The service is a function of VOYOLink, an online platform that connects vehicle owners with service providers.

The new Scheduled Service Alert feature takes data such as the client’s odometer and oil life, compares it with mileage-based manufacturer recommendations, and then sends SMS and e-mail notifications to customers when their vehicle is approaching needed service.

The Scheduled Service Alert may be used for reminders of oil changes, general maintenance, and tire services, with customers and shops receiving alerts when a vehicle’s remaining mileage/oil life reaches 25%, 10%, and 0%.

Alerts may be viewed by service providers through the VOYOLink portal or an ERP system such as Mitchell 1's Manager SE.

“VOYOLink's Scheduled Service Alerts bring a much needed level of automation to vehicle maintenance scheduling – a process that has not been modernized in decades,” said Voyomotive CEO Peter Yorke.
