The newest Valvoline Instant Oil Change opening in Schaumburg, Illinois, marks a milestone for the company, according to a recent press release.
Operated by Ivy Lane Corporation, the three-bay store at 1815 W. Wise Road opened on Jan. 11, making it the 900th franchise-owned Valvoline location.
Ivy Lane Corporation operates 67 other locations throughout Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, and Wisconsin, as part of a total of over 1,750 company and franchise locations nationwide. According to Ivy Lane Corporate COO Shannon Griffith, the franchisee has doubled its number of Valvoline locations in the past three years.
Currently, over half of existing Valvoline locations are operated by franchisees. Moving forward, Valvoline plans to open 250 new stores each year by 2027, with 150 of them being owned by franchisees.
