North Carolina Veteran Receives Surprise Vehicle Service From Pennzoil

North Carolina National Guard Veteran Jared Bowman was surprised with more than a home makeover in a recent episode of the Lifetime TV series.

A recent episode of Lifetime TV’s Military Makeover saw a North Carolina veteran receive free automotive service from Pennzoil, according to a recent press release.

Jared Bowman enlisted with the North Carolina National Guard in 2016 and is the grandson of a World War II veteran. Now a husband and father to four daughters, Bowman was the recent recipient of a home makeover from the Lifetime TV series–but little did he know, he would be receiving even more.

Upon entering his local Firestone Complete Auto Care with co-host Art Edmonds, Bowman was surprised with a free motor oil change from Michael Thomas of Pennzoil.

As Bowman’s car was taken to be worked on, Thomas shared details on the brand’s Platinum Full Synthetic Motor Oil before presenting Bowman with another gift: a $500 Pennzoil gift card to use for future maintenance on his family’s vehicles.

“For being a veteran and taking care of our country, we at Pennzoil are giving you a $500 gift card,” said Thomas as he handed the gift to a grateful Bowman.

Those interested in seeing Bowman’s episode can catch a rerun on Lifetime TV this upcoming Thursday, March 21 at 7:30 AM (ET).
