Sun Auto & Tire Service has partnered with RELEX Solutions to optimize its supply chain, as shared in a recent press release.
RELEX will optimize store and distribution center forecasting and replenishment across more than 520 of Sun Auto’s locations and 19 DCs in 24 states.
With aftermarket auto part and tire markets facing limited demand history for thousands of SKUs, the partnership aims to find a balance between overstocking and availability of parts. To combat this, RELEX will provide Sun Auto with improved demand forecasting, automated replenishment, and purchase optimization capabilities to help improve product availability, reduce excess inventory, and provide the visibility needed to make informed buying decisions that maximize margins across their growing network.
