A Strickland Brothers 10 Minute Oil Change franchise owner in Kansas is running for state governor, reports KVOE News.

Philip Sarnecki, running as a Republican, operates several Strickland Brothers stores across the state of Kansas. He’s also the founder of wealth management company RPS Financial Group, and is part owner of the 513 Films movie production company.

Sarnecki has outlined plans to align with the agenda of U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration, and wants to focus on lowering taxes and parental rights in education.

Other Republicans Sarnecki will be running against include former governor and lieutenant governor Jeff Colyer, Kansas Senate President Ty Masterson, current Secretary of State Scott Schwab, current Insurance Commissioner Vicki Schmidt, talk show host Doug Billings, and data analyst Joy Eakins. Democrats in the race include Kansas Senators Ethan Corson and Cindy Holscher.
