Purolator Launches New Multimedia Campaign: “Keep It Purring with Purolator”

The 'Keep It Purring' campaign, created by TRG, uses playful imagery of a purring cougar and a vintage sports car that will be rolled out across key U.S. markets.

Purolator has launched a new multimedia campaign that will soon be rolling out across key markets in the U.S., the company announced in a recent press release.

Titled “Keep It Purring with Purolator,” the campaign was led by Dallas-based agency TRG and launched early this month, being sent out over social media, TV, audio, and streaming platforms.

The campaign features a cougar, playing on the company’s tagline of “Keep it Purring,” alongside actor Antonio Jaramillo driving a Nissan R32 Skyline GT-R vintage sports car.

“It started with the phrase ‘Keep it Purring,’” said Terence Reynolds, chief creative officer at TRG. “We knew we wanted to highlight smooth performance, and ‘purring’ just stuck. Then someone joked, ‘What if it literally purrs?’ Next thing we know, we’re negotiating screen time with a cougar.”
