Royal Purple Releases Motor Oil for European Gasoline/Light-Duty Diesel Engines

Royal Purple has launched a new motor oil targeted towards European gasoline and light-duty diesel engines, according to a recent press release.

The product—Royal Purple High-Performance Motor Oil European Formula SAE 0W-20 Dexos D—is formulated exclusively with premium synthetic base stocks and advanced additive technology. 

It carries General Motors Dexos D approval, as well as meeting the requirements of key European OEM claims, making it compatible with a range of vehicles, including those from Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, and Opel. It also meets the industry standards of ACEA C5-21 & C6-21 and API SP.

Optimized for hybrid applications, gasoline direct injection, and turbocharged engines, Euro 0W-20 Dexos D also exceeds the wear protection requirements of current API and ACEA specifications.

The company added that it offers oxidation stability and low volatility properties, resistance to sludge and varnish deposits during stop-and-go driving, and improved fuel efficiency.
