Quick Lube Brands Among Honorees in Franchise 500 Rankings

Entrepreneur has released its 47th annual Franchise 500 rankings, and a number of quick lube brands made the list.

A total of 18 automotive industry brands are among the 500 honorees, including the following:

• Valvoline Instant Oil Change (No. 32)
• Midas (No. 54)
• Jiffy Lube (No. 63)
• Take 5 Oil Change (No. 70)
• Precision Tune Auto Care (No. 214)

This marked Take 5’s seventh straight year in the Franchise 500 and the first time it cracked the top 100 overall.

Rankings in the Franchise 500 are based on a variety of factors that under four overarching pillars: costs and fees, size and growth, support, and brand strength. Franchisors were asked to submit applications for consideration in June 2025. To qualify, they were required to have at least 10 units open and operating as of July 31, 2025. A total of 1,354 brands applied.

Eligible applicants were judged based on more than 150 data points.
