A car wash in Macon, Georgia, has been ordered by a judge to remove signage that Express Oil Change has said violates its trademarked brand.

The Telegraph reports that Big Peach Car Wash started advertising itself as “Big Peach Express Oil Change” beginning in February 2025. Express Oil Change, which operates over 386 locations in 19 states, then filed a lawsuit in May 2025.

Express Oil claimed the advertising from Big Peach violated the Lanham Act because of being confusingly similar to its brand name. Big Peach never responded to the lawsuit, leading to the judge issuing a default judgment in Express Oil’s favor.

Big Peach has faced other legal trouble in the past, including a lawsuit from the owners of two tracts of land for being behind over $300,000 on rent.
