Stellantis has issued a “stop-drive” warning for owners of older Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles due to unrepaired Takata airbags, reports The Detroit Free Press.

As efforts continue to repair faulty, dangerous Takata airbag inflators that have been recalled over the past decade, Stellantis has estimated that approximately 225,000 vehicles are currently on the road with the faulty component.

Left unattended, chemicals inside the airbag inflators can degrade, creating the risk of metal fragments going loose in the cabin if the airbag is deployed.

Owners were sent out notices beginning Feb. 9, with Stellantis releasing another warning Feb. 11. The following vehicles are included in the notice:

  • 2003–16 Dodge Ram pickup trucks and Dodge Sprinter vans
  • 2004–09 Dodge Durango SUVs
  • 2005–12 Dodge Dakota pickup trucks
  • 2005–08 Dodge Magnum station wagons
  • 2006–15 Dodge Charger sedans
  • 2007–09 Chrysler Aspen SUVs
  • 2007–08 Chrysler Crossfire coupes
  • 2008–14 Dodge Challenger coupes
  • 2005–15 Chrysler 300 sedans
  • 2007–16 Jeep Wrangler SUVs
