Oilex Deploys PitCrew AI Platform Across Network of 35 Grease Monkey Locations

The decision by Grease Monkey’s largest franchisee follows a successful four-store pilot.

Oilex, the largest Grease Monkey franchisee in the United States, has selected PitCrew by Leverege as its AI-powered operations platform, according to a recent news release. The platform is being deployed across all 35 of Oilex’s Grease Monkey locations across Colorado, Arizona, Texas, and Montana.

Oilex becomes the first Grease Monkey franchisee to deploy AI-powered service bay intelligence across its entire network, providing chainwide visibility and operational consistency.

The decision by Oilex followed a successful multi-store pilot using the platform at four of its Grease Monkey stores. During the pilot, PitCrew connected to each store’s existing camera infrastructure to provide live views of bay activity, automatic service tracking, and delay alerts for more than 4,200 services. The platform enabled store managers to identify bottlenecks, coach technicians, and proactively update customers when services ran long.

The use of PitCrew service data decreased service times by more than 3.5 minutes per vehicle at Oilex’s top location and cut average service times by 2 minutes across all four stores participating in the pilot.
