Lucas Oil has announced the launch of its latest product, Lucas Oil Motor Oil Extender with Lucas Shield Technology, in a recent press release.

Lucas Shield Technology is the proprietary formulation technology behind Motor Oil Extender, designed to push oil changes further while extending engine life. Motor Oil Extender is advertised as protecting critical engine components. Users are able to add it directly to engine oil at any time to help reduce oil contamination and extend oil life; reduce friction for higher fuel efficiency and less wear; and boost oil performance for improved engine efficiency and longer engine life.

Vehicles manufactured since 2017 require low-viscosity oils, as their modern engine designs are engineered to produce more power while operating with tighter tolerances and greater efficiency. The formulation is specifically designed to meet the lubrication demands of modern engines.
