Dec. 3, 2019—Part of the land that was once home to a popular Chicopee Chinese restaurant will become a Valvoline Instant Oil Change.
MassLive reports that the parcel in the Massachusetts town is being eyed by MetroLube, a Valvoline franchisee. The company will begin submitting preliminary plans to the city's planning board.
Another portion of the land has already been approved for a 2,300 square-foot bank, according to the MassLive story.
The land was previously home to Hu Ke Lau, a beloved local restaurant that often featured Polynesian dance shows and stand-up comedy. It closed in April 2018.
