A Take 5 Oil Change shop in Walker, Louisiana, is under new ownership after a sale announced last week. The Take 5 shop on South Walker Road, located about 20 miles east of Baton Rouge, was acquired by D.M. Walker Holdings from automotive services company Driven Brands Inc. for $1.5 million, according to a report published by Greater Baton Rouge Business Report on Thursday.
The Take 5 location in Walker opened in 2023.
Walker Holdings was represented in the transaction by Darrell Bode, who was listed in a filing with the Secretary of State’s office as the registered agent and an officer for the organization. Bode is part of A-1 Service, a Jefferson, Louisiana-based provider of commercial mat rental services and facility supplies.
