Quaker State is pleased to announce the winner of the brand’s “Build the Car of Your Dreams” Sweepstakes – Christopher Bryant of Atlanta, Georgia.
Through the “Build the Car of Your Dreams” sweepstakes, Quaker State gave consumers the opportunity to take home a 1972 Chevrolet C-10 along with $25,000 to restore and customize the pick-up back to tip-top condition with the help of Tommy Pike Customs in Greenville, South Carolina.
In just a few weeks’ time, Tommy Pike and his team made several modifications to the truck including the installation of a new fuel injection system, the design and installation of a custom vintage air system, upgrades to the wheels and tires and the installation of a new rear and front suspension.
In order to spread the word about the sweepstakes last year, Quaker State joined the fun at Hispanic heritage festivals across the country. These events included the Latin Energy Car Show in Dallas, TX; Festival de La Villita in Chicago, IL; Fiesta Mexicana in Atlanta, GA; and Festival Calle Orange in Orlando, FL.
