Nov. 17, 2020—Like many quick lube, Kentucky-based Fast Change Lube and Oil marked Veterans Day by offering free oil changes to veterans and active-duty personnel.
The outcome for 2020 was more than 400 free services finished, according to a press release. That's across Fast Change's 18 locations.
“This year has been challenging for all of us in the face of the pandemic and the impacts it has had on our region. In spite of that, we are committed to honoring the men and women who serve, or have served, our country and offer this free service as our way to thank them for their dedication,” said Fast Change President Kevin Davis in the release.
The 433 oil changes performed topped the previous record, which was set in 2019.
