Lubbock Take 5 Locations Raise Money for Schools

The area school district reported a $30,000 donation this holiday season from the area's shops.

Dec. 8, 2020—Lubbock Independent School District reported a $30,000 donation from the Take 5 Oil Change locations in the Texas city.

The fundraiser was a raffle program, which asked customers to make a donation for a change at free service. It began in March and lasted through September, according to a press release shared by Everything Lubbock.

“Lubbock has demonstrated incredible resolve during this challenging year, and it is with great pride that we make this donation to Lubbock ISD on behalf of our entire community,” says Cody Marciante, Lubbock Take 5 district manager said in the release. “We are honored to be a part of Lubbock and we hope this contribution helps our young ones thrive in a time a great adversity.”
