June 4, 2021—Joining the likes of ExxonMobil and Valvoline, Castrol announced a line of e-fluids for "electric vehicle performance."
The products are under the Castrol ON branding, according to a press release. The company says it worked with Jaguar Formula E racing partners to develop the products.
The line includes e-greases and e-thermal fluids, the latter of which keeps batteries at stable temperatures. There is also an e-transmission fluid, which will "deliver enhanced drivetrain protection, improve efficiency, help EVs go further" on a single charge, a press release says.
