Oil Changers will enter the Texas market for the first time with this latest acquisition.

Oct. 15, 2021—California-based Oil Changers has acquired Lube 'n Go of El Paso, Texas, according to a press release.

The deal adds 14 locations to Oil Changers' portfolio, the first in Texas for the company. One of the locations is currently being built. Mark Bochnowski is the operator of Lube 'n Go. He was NOLN Operator of the Year in 2017, and the company has been in business 45 years.

“While we will operate under a new name, our love for the green and yellow and the guests that helped make us who we are today will always run deep,” Bochnowski said in the press release. “The Lube ‘n Go family is grateful for the 45 years we’ve serviced vehicles and interacted with you, our loyal guests.”

Oil Changers president Eric Frankenberger said in the release that he feels fortunate to build on Lube 'n Go's legacy.

“Peak behind the curtain of the Lube ‘n Go brand and you’ll find nothing but spectacular, hard-working people with a huge heart for their family and community," Frankenberger said. “I am honored to welcome such an incredible group of people to the Oil Changers family and continue to grow and challenge each other to be the best for our guests.”
