Woman Injured Falling Into Quick Lube Pit

Jan. 22, 2021— A woman was injured after falling onto a grate in a six-foot-deep pit at a quick lube shop in Chelsea, Mass. Thursday, The Boston Globe reported. 

The woman fell into the hole while walking towards her car that was being serviced for an oil change at Lightning Lube. 

Fire officials put the woman on a backboard and lifted her out of the hole. Her injuries were not life threatening.
