Dec. 15, 2022—Meineke has announced the winner of the vintage Corvette giveaway, which ran during the month of August.
According to a press release, John Coppin is the dedicated Meineke customer who won the car. Coppin is a resident of Colorado Springs, Colo. He is the safety and security director at New Summit Charter, which is a local school. Meineke presented Coppin with the 1972 Corvette Stingray on Dec. 1, 2022. Additionally, Meineke donated $5,000 to New Summit.
The giveaway ran in honor of Meineke's 50th anniversary. Customers who received service at a Meineke location were eligible to win, and Coppin was selected at random. Coppin has been a Meineke customer for 40 years, and his father once had a 1971 Corvette Stingray that Coppin admired.
“There’s something sentimental about these classic cars,” Coppin said via the press release. “I’m grateful to Meineke. They have played a huge role in making a lifelong dream of mine come true.”
Ryan Tracy is the chief executive officer at Barren Troy Holdings, and he owns 14 Meineke locations in Colorado.
“We take a lot of pride in Meineke being part of the Colorado community, and John winning the Corvette is really a full circle moment for him and our Meineke family,” Tracy said via the press release.
