Permits for both locations have been filed with the city of Rochester, Minnesota.

Aug. 29, 2022—Take 5 Oil Change has plans to bring two new facilities to Rochester, Minnesota.

According to an article from the Post-Bulletin shared by Yahoo! News, the city has received permits filed for construction of two 1,750-square-foot-facilities. Currently, Take 5 has two locations in the state of Minnesota overall. One is in Blaine and the other is in Hopkins, Minnesota.

Rochester is home to the Mayo Clinic, a medical hub that is a major market draw for Take 5, according to Driven Brands Senior Director of Corporate Communications Taylor Blanchard.

"We are always interested in dynamic markets, and Rochester, Minn., is a great area given its strong economy and the presence of a major employer like the Mayo Clinic. We are committed to expanding our service to more locations across the country, and Minnesota is an important state for our family of brands," Blanchard told the Post-Bulletin.

It is predicted by Blanchard  that the location at the southern part of Rochester could be open by the third quarter of 2023. The north location is predicted to be open in the fourth quarter of 2023 or first quarter 2024.
