New Havoline Oil Has Plant-Based Feedstock

The oil is made with 25 percent plant-based feedstocks.

Nov. 2, 2021—A new full synthetic engine oil from Havoline is made in part with plant-based oils.

Called Havoline PRO-RS, the product was developed with 25 percent plant-based feedstocks, according to a press release from parent company Chevron. The oil meets current API and ILSAC specifications. Grades offered are 0W-16, 0W-20, 5W-20, and 5W-30.

The oil is available to installers as of Nov. 1 and will be pushed to retail locations in 2022.
