Oct. 27, 2021—Valvoline on Monday launched a full suite of China-based EV fluids and products.
The oil and lube manufacturer's XEV brand is an entire suite of products specifically designed for hybrids, plug-in hybrids and fully battery electric vehicles, according to to a news release. The line includes motor oil, battery protection fluid, transmission and brake fluids.
"Valvoline is doing now what is has always done – leading with innovation in an evolving automotive landscape," said Yu Chang, vice president of Valvoline International. "Our brand is prioritizing how to best meet consumer needs worldwide – regardless of what powers each vehicle under the hood."
The release comes as Valvoline–along with the rest of the automotive industry–is preparing for a large and rapid shift toward electric vehicles in the coming years. Valvoline previously announced a line of EV fluids for the North American market.
