According to the Johnston County Report, a new Take 5 Oil Change may soon be built in Smithfield, North Carolina.

Two adjacent lots were purchased by Smithfield Take Five, LLC of Charlotte in May 2022. The southern lot will contain the Take 5 Oil Change, located at 1309 N. Brightleaf Boulevard and across from a Ford dealership.

The northern lot is reportedly being considered for the location of a restaurant, the name of which was not disclosed. 

Site plans were submitted to the Town of Smithfield for the Take 5 location. An expected timeline has not been released yet.
