Chevron has announced several changes to its leadership team.

Chevron has announced several changes to its leadership team, according to a press release.

The company’s Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Pierre Breber will be retiring, following 35 years of work. 

Succeeding him is Eimear Bonner, leaving her current positions as vice president and chief technology officer and president of the Chevron Technical Center.

First joining the company in 1998, she has held many leadership and operating positions since. In her new role, she will be responsible for implementing technology and digital solutions throughout the company’s operations.

Many other changes are now taking place as a result of the decision. Balaji Krishnamurthy, vice president of strategy & sustainability, will be taking over as vice president of the Chevron Technical Center. 

Molly Laegeler, vice president of Chevron’s San Joaquin Valley Business Unit, will become the new vice president of strategy & sustainability. Additionally, Vice President of M&A and Origination, Frank Mount, will be taking the role of vice president of Business Development.

Additionally, Chevron has also waived the company’s mandatory retirement age of 65 for Chairman and CEO Mike Wirth, who will be turning 63 this year.
