July 10, 2024
Nominations are open for the Shop Owner of the Year, Service Advisor of the Year, and Technician of the Year titles.

Nominations are now open for the annual AAPEX Service and Repair Awards, according to a press release.

Each year, the Shop Owner of the Year, Service Advisor of the Year, and Technician of the Year titles go to individuals who have displayed commitment and exceptionalism in their roles this past year.

Nominees will be reviewed by an independent panel of judges, made up of shop owners and service professionals. Winners of each title will then be announced during the Keynote Breakfast at AAPEX 2024, taking place Nov. 5-7 at the Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum in Las Vegas.

Last year, Shop Owner of the Year went to Roy Foster, owner of Roy Foster’s Automotive in Reno, Nevada, with Service Advisor of the Year going to Greg Damon, the general manager of Sparks Tire & Auto in St. Charles, Missouri, and Technician of the Year was named as Michael Miller, a master technician at CarMax West Sahara in Las Vegas.

Nominations are due Aug. 15, and may be submitted online on AAPEX’s website.
