PAMA Holding Online Training Course Over Engine Oil and Transmission Labelling Laws

This comprehensive program, created by industry experts, offers real-world graphics and feedback to help participants verify product accuracy and avoid violations in engine oil and transmission labeling requirements.

The Preventive Automotive Maintenance Association has recently launched a training course online over complying with engine oil and transmission labeling laws.

Targeted to installers, manufacturers, distributors, and retail sellers, the program teaches participants how to ensure operators and consumers are receiving the exact products they order, while protecting their fast lube assets from NIST Handbook 130 engine oil and transmission product labeling and receipt requirement violations.

PAMA’s training program was designed by fast lube operators and training experts, complete with real world graphics, supportive audio, straight forward text, and a corrective feedback test at the end. The cost to participate is $50 per individual and is only available to PAMA members.

“Manufacturers and Distributors out of compliance pass their non-compliance onto Installers and Retailers,” the organization stated. “Encourage everyone in your product distribution chain to verify they’ve been trained and are operating in regulatory compliance.”
