Valvoline Inc. Enters Multi-Year Partnership With Procurement Platform Arkestro
Valvoline Inc. has entered a multi-year partnership with predictive procurement platform Arkestro, according to a press release.
Arkestro works with procurement teams, helping to create sourcing events that bring competitive pricing and strategic supplier engagement. Valvoline first entered into a partnership with Arkestro last year to support its procurement processes across both product and service categories.
Valvoline has credited Arkestro with helping it achieve 14% in realized annual savings on MRO spend, as well as 27% in realized annual savings across its corporate stores for snow removal and landscaping services.
Going forward into the second year of their partnership, Valvoline said it will be focusing on streamlining evaluations, strengthening supplier relationships, and establishing consistent, scalable workflows.
“Arkestro helps our procurement team move faster and reduce manual effort, especially in complex service categories like landscaping,” said Tony Orso, senior purchasing manager at Valvoline. “The platform centralizes our sourcing events and streamlines evaluations, freeing us up to focus on other priorities. We're already seeing time and cost savings, and we expect that impact to continue to grow over time.”
