Strickland Brothers 10 Minute Oil Change Helps Fundraise for Children’s Hospital
Strickland Brothers 10 Minute Oil Change recently partnered with Wake Forest University Football to help fundraise for Atrium Health Levine Children's Brenner Children's Hospital in North Carolina, as shared in a press release.
$12,745 was raised for the hospital from the second-annual Gold Rush Childhood Cancer Game, which took place Sept. 6 at the Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium. 10,000 gold pom poms were distributed during the event, filling the stands with gold solidarity.
The fundraising efforts will fuel critical research and advance treatment programs at Brenner Children's Hospital.
“The Gold Rush Game represents the best of what happens when communities rally together,” said Justin Strickland, founder and CEO of Strickland Brothers. “We are honored to stand alongside Wake Forest, Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, and the incredible families at Brenner Children's Hospital to raise funds, awareness, and—most importantly—hope.”
