Oilstop Drive Thru Oil Change Plans Oregon Location Alongside Happy’s Car Wash

Oilspot Drive Thru Oil Change is looking to open a new location in Keizer, Oregon, alongside a new Happy’s Drive Thru Car Wash, reports The Keizertimes.

Oilspot Drive Thru Oil Change CEO Scott Hempy is also CEO for Happy’s Drive Thru Car Wash. The proposed stores in Keizer would operate side-by-side, located at the entrance to Keizer Station, next to the Keizer Transit Center. The site was initially slated for a fast-food chicken restaurant before the business opted for another location in Keizer.

Hempy said that Keizer was an ideal spot for Oilstop due to it being a small community with gaps in auto service businesses. The only other quick lubes in town are a Jiffy Lube and a Valvoline Instant Oil Change. Additionally, Hempy said the community has opportunities for employees to get involved with organizations like the chamber of commerce.

“Keizer’s a community we’ve had our eye on for a while,” shared Hempy.

Currently, Oilstop operates in 33 markets in the West, while Happy’s has eight car washes locations since first opening in Albany, Oregon, five years ago.

Right now, plans for the Oilstop and Happy’s will need a change in zoning regulations allowing for an auto-related business before they can proceed. Depending on how fast the city moves, the new stores could open by late 2026 or early 2027.
