Hot Shot’s Secret Unveils New Advanced Oil Enhancer

Hot Shot’s Secret recently unveiled a new product—Tick Fix + Protect—an advanced oil enhancer developed for gas-powered vehicles to address the root cause of valvetrain noise and hydraulic lifter malfunction. The product targets damaging conditions found in engines with stop/start systems, displacement-on-demand, and hybrid technology.

Using a formulation with a dexos 1 GEN 3-compliant additive package and FR3 Nano Technology, Tick Fix + Protect cleans deposits to support lifter function and reduce engine wear. The company said in a news release that use of its new product results in “quieter valvetrains, reduced rough running, improved power, and reliability.”

“Tick Fix (adds) extra lubricity and detergency to the oil so the lifter can be cleaned and restored,” Kevin Adams, Lubrication Specialties vice president of research and development, said in a statement. “It’s an easy investment in long-term performance and protection.”
