RelaDyne has announced the acquisition of two distributors: Dennis Oil Company and Dion and Sons, Inc, as shared in recent press releases.

Dennis Oil Company is a blender and distributor of commercial and industrial lubricants serving customers across Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas, headquartered in Springfield, Missouri.

Established in 1940, Dennis Oil Company has grown from a regional supplier of case goods for service stations into a provider of bulk lubricant solutions for trucking, manufacturing, excavation, and quarrying industries. The company offers engine oils, diesel exhaust fluid, hydraulic oils, gear oils, and grease to the manufacturing, trucking, automotive, mining, railroad, and agricultural industries.

“Dennis Oil Company is excited to join the RelaDyne team,” said Jeff Dennis, president of Dennis Oil Company. “RelaDyne’s dominant presence in the automotive, commercial, and industrial segments creates an amazing opportunity to expand our product offering and service capability in our current footprint. Joining forces with the RelaDyne team propels our capacity to grow with our longstanding, loyal customers, while also expanding our high level of service to new customers we could not previously reach. I am extremely proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish at Dennis Oil Company and cannot wait to execute on the opportunities that this combination brings for our associates and our customers.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Dennis Oil Company to the RelaDyne family,” said Eric Royse, chief executive officer of RelaDyne. “Dennis Oil Company’s service footprint and product breadth perfectly complement our existing operations in the Midwest, improving our density in key regional markets. By combining Dennis Oil Company’s exceptional customer service, existing relationships, product expertise, and an enviable reputation in the commercial and industrial sectors built over 80+ years, we are certain that RelaDyne and Dennis Oil Company, together, will provide even greater reliability to the market.”

In addition, RelaDyne has also acquired Dion and Sons, Inc.: a Southern California petroleum distributor and industrial reliability services provider. Founded in 1930, the company serves the region’s fuel and lubricant needs, as well as industrial reliability services provider spanning a wide range of geographies and customer end-markets.

Since its founding, Dion and Sons, Inc. has grown from a local supplier into a full-service provider supporting transportation, construction, manufacturing, municipalities, and specialty markets, with seven distribution facilities across Southern California.

“Dion and Sons is thrilled to join the RelaDyne team,” said Jason Hurrell, executive director general manager. “RelaDyne is such a great fit for our people and our customers. By joining the RelaDyne team, our employees will be able to grow personally and professionally, and benefit from RelaDyne’s programs and scale. This will allow Dion and Sons to serve our customers with a larger selection of quality products and services that we could not have done alone. This acquisition will allow us to better serve our customers through a larger product offering and higher levels of service.”

“The RelaDyne team is honored to welcome Dion and Sons to the RelaDyne family,” said Eric Royse, chief executive officer of RelaDyne. “Dion and Sons’ strategic, geographic footprint further establishes RelaDyne’s product and service coverage on the West Coast. With Dion and Sons’ reputation for reliability, industry expertise, and customer-focused service across all market sectors, we are confident that RelaDyne and Dion and Sons will provide even greater benefits to our associates, customers, and the market as a whole.”
