The Auto Care Association has announced its next trade webinar, “Supreme Court Ruling on IEEPA and Other Key Trade Developments,” slated for March 18, as shared in a press release.

Led by Mark Tallo—managing partner, operating committee, Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg, P.A.— the session will cover the latest legal and policy developments shaping the trade landscape, including the implications of a recent U.S. Supreme Court decision related to IEEPA tariffs and Section 122 global tariffs.

During the webinar, participants will gain insight into the U.S. Supreme Court decision on IEEPA tariffs and what it means for importers; steel and aluminum valuation issues and compliance considerations; Section 232 auto parts tariffs, including self-declaration strategies; and practical best practices for importers navigating compliance in the current tariff environment.

The program will also address how importers may be affected by current duty liability and what actions companies should consider taking now to preserve their rights to potential refunds.

Tallo advises clients on customs, import, and export compliance matters, including duty savings opportunities through the First Sale Rule and U.S. preference programs, such as the Generalized System of Preferences. He also works closely with global automotive producers and suppliers navigating rules of origin under the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement.

Registration is required to attend the webinar. Participants are encouraged to submit questions in advance, and the program will conclude with a live Q&A session.
