A New England auto service company added a new location in Massachusetts.

The Framingham Source reported on April 19 that VIP Tires and Service opened its 59th shop in the town of Framingham. The location used to be a Midas shop.

VIP now has 59 shops in all, including 19 in New Hampshire, four in Massachusetts, 35 in Maine and one in Vermont.

The newly renovated shop has six service bays and will have six staff members. Mike Escola will be the store manager.

This is the fourth new location for VIP in the past year, according to the Framingham Source. Two went up in New Hampshire, and another opened in Vermont. This Massachusetts location is the fourth.

One of the New Hampshire shops opened in West Lebanon, where VIP offered $10 oil changes for the first couple months of operation. The effort, called the Oil Changes For Education Initiative, raised $6,070 for the Lebanon School District.

The same initiative will launch with the May grand opening in Farmingham, the Framingham Source reported.

The new store is located at 752 Worcester Road in Framingham.

VIP Tires and Service is based out of Auburn, Maine, and has been in the Quirk family for 93 years.
