Online: PAMA, Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo Announce iFLEX's Move to AAPEX

The Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo and the Preventive Automotive Maintenance Association have announced that the International Fast Lube Expo will be coming to AAPEX in 2026 in a press release.

The quick lube section of the show will be branded “iFLEX @ AAPEX.” iFLEX exhibitors have historically been part of The Car Wash Show, which caters to independent and franchise car wash owners.

“iFLEX is entering a new era, and we’re shifting gears for 2026,” PAMA President Jason Lyon said in a statement to NOLN. “We’ll be sharing more details soon, but our focus remains the same: delivering the kind of education, solutions, and networking opportunities operators rely on—now with a new direction designed for where our industry is headed.”

Many of the suppliers the quick lube industry relies on are already AAPEX exhibitors, such as Mobil 1, Royal Dutch Shell plc, and Valvoline, Inc., which are among the top suppliers at AAPEX every year.

“Adding PAMA members and iFLEX expands the AAPEX reach within the global aftermarket ecosystem, and as more of them join us each year we will continue to expand our exhibitor and supplier base to meet their needs,” said  Mark Bogdansky, vice president of Trade Shows and Community Engagement at the Auto Care Association. “There’s also a wealth of training opportunities at AAPEX, which will be growing to match the needs of the quick lube operators who are seeking to expand their service offerings into the automotive aftermarket.”

“Quick lube operators interested in growing their menu of services will need greater visibility in the automotive aftermarket,” added Jenn Bochnowski, vice president of the board of directors at PAMA. “As the largest automotive show in North America, AAPEX provides that opportunity, along with a number of added benefits such as networking and first-rate educational sessions. The AAPEX Show is the one place where buyers and sellers can line up a dozen or more meetings in a week. The fact that many of the suppliers quick lube operators need are long-time AAPEX exhibitors is a good example.”
