This year’s contest for 2017 Best Looking Lube yielded some great results. Our judges were highly impressed with the quality of the entries received. We have all enjoyed watching as so many quick oil change locations have stepped it up to create an atmosphere customers enjoy being in. We’re certain many more locations will follow suit in years to come.
First Place
Lucas Oil Center
Evansville, Indiana
Lucas Oil Center just opened their second location, featuring a quick lube, car wash and two-story waiting room.
One judge said, “Lucas Oil Center’s massive ceiling and natural lighting makes it feel very open and spacious. The comfortable seats and multiple seating options has something for everyone.”
Another judge commented, “It’s a modern facility — bright and busy!”
We’re sure the customers love the massage chair and self-serve coffee bar, too!

Lubricant Specialties
Mukwonago, Wisconsin
With its clean brick exterior, spotless bays and tidy waiting room, there’s not much to dislike; however, this shop’s most unique feature gave it an edge.
“Who can compete with a Caffeinated Cafe right next door while you’re waiting for an oil change to be done?” one judge exclaimed.
“The coffee shop with drive-up and fire pit is a neat touch,” another judge said.
The shop’s refined landscaping was also a judge favorite.

Mobil 1 Lube Express
Billings, Montana
The automobilia in the bays is just where the charm starts in this shop. (Plus, the Mobil 1 floor treatment is a neat touch!)
“The bays are spotless, and all the Mobil nods are sure to be loved by car guys and junkers alike,” one judge said.
Inside, the charm keeps on going.
“A massage chair fixes a lot of problems,” one judge commented.
While another said, “Mobil 1’s waiting room feels like you’re visiting family — maybe a bit eccentric family — but it is cozy nonetheless.”

Havoline xpress lube
Florence, Alabama
This beautiful, new Havoline xpress lube opened in November 2016, and it is spotless. The judges loved that the bays were clean and not crowded with product.
“This shop is uniform and neat,” one judge said. “I also love the aesthetic of the building.”

Al Tunisi Center, PETROMIN EXPRESS
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Even though this shop is located on the other side of the world, it has many resemblances to a U.S. quick service shop.
“I appreciate how easily you can see work being done on the car from inside the Petromin Express waiting room, and the bays look so nice that it isn’t an eyesore either,” one judge commented.
“I like the nice tile. It’s easy to keep clean,” another judge said. “They deal with a lot of dirt, and the tile is very practical. I have seen this make a nice floor in the States, too.”
