Aug. 11, 2022—The University of the Aftermarket Foundation has named Gold Eagle Co. as a lifetime trustee.
According to a press release, this announcement came following a contribution to the foundation made by Gold Eagle. All of these funds are planned on being used for education programs, grants, and automotive aftermarket industry research.
CEO Marc Blackman will also serve on the board of trustees for the foundation.
“There is nothing more important to our industry than attracting great young minds who are passionate about the aftermarket," said Blackman via the press release. “The University of the Aftermarket plays a critical role in educating the future leaders of our industry, and Gold Eagle is proud to be a part of supporting The University of the Aftermarket and the industry’s future.”
Gold Eagle's goals with achieving lifetime trustee status is to ensure financial resources are available for scholarships and education that motivates and supports the next generation of those interested in pursuing automotive aftermarket careers.
