Oct. 18, 2022—Mitchell 1 has announced that it will sponsor a free upcoming webinar with MotorAge.
According to a press release, the webinar will take place on Oct. 22 at 6 p.m. EST. It will be titled, "Exploring the 'E' in EV," and will discuss testing and inspection techniques for high voltage battery systems found in electric vehicles and hybrids.
The webinar will be hosted by Peter Meier, Motor Age group technical editor and director of training, and G. Jerry Truglia of Technician’s Service Training.
“Don’t leave money on the table,” said Meier via the press release. “Many hybrids on the road right now need battery inspection and service – just one example of the service revenue that technicians should be putting in their pockets. However, they can’t start collecting it until they are trained on these systems and learn the safety precautions they need to follow and implement in their own businesses. The webinar will get into common issues that technicians could face pertaining to hybrid electric vehicles, plug-in hybrids vehicles and battery electric vehicles. The hosts will talk about the high voltage electric powertrain, from high voltage battery packs to drive wheels.
