Consumer demand for full synthetic oil is on the rise, according to the 2024 NOLN Operator Survey. Full synthetic was identified as the main bulk oil used by 60% of 2024 survey respondents, compared to just 35% who listed synthetic blend. The results were a marked shift from the 2023 Operator Survey, in which synthetic blend (48%) and full synthetic (47%).
The following is a breakdown of how 2024 survey participants responded when asked about their main bulk oil used:
60% - Full synthetic (47% in 2023)
35% - Synthetic blend (48% in 2023)
5% - Conventional (5% in 2023)
