Police are investigating the damage done to the 2003 Ford F-250 truck, which was parked at Plaza Tire repair shop at the time of the theft.

June 14, 2022—Police in Arnold, Missouri, have launched an investigation into a theft involving a vehicle that was parked at Plaza Tire repair shop.

According to the Leader, a radio was stolen from a 2003 Ford F-250 truck, which was parked at Plaza Tire for repair.

As a result of the theft, one of the truck's doors suffered damage. The vehicle owner, a 52-year-old man, reported that he left his truck for repair on May 16. The damage was discovered on May 18 at around 6:40 a.m.

The police estimate that the damage done to the pickup is around $4,000. As of late May 2022, they have not identified any suspects or tracked down the missing radio.

Apparently, the ignition of the vehicle had not been tampered with, so it would appear that stealing the truck was not the main target. According to the police report, it seemed as though someone used a saw to get inside of the truck and then cut out the radio.

Anyone with information regarding the theft is encouraged to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
